Avilec Ltd was established by our Director Antony Moore in 2002 having started as a small repair company in 1999 mainly specilialising in ABS ECU’s in conjuction with Car Electronic Services which specialisted in Range Rover ECU’s.
Antony has been invloved in ECU repairs since 1989 when he set up his own business having left the Aircraft Industry where he was employed as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer and Service Manager for Honeywell Avionics. Previous to this he had a career encompassing many different disciplines from Software/Hardware design to maintenance of Radio/Medical equipment and Microwave toll links.
The background of Hardware and Software design enables us to design and build our own test equipment and the discipline of the aircraft industry translates to a great emphasis on the quality and reliability of repairs that are carried out.
